Youth Programs

Overview
PEAC youth programs have been designed to offer fun, fitness and the basic fundamentals of preschool and kinder sport programs. All classes are designed to be age appropriate and recreational, while focusing on the child’s overall physical development. Most programs run 4 to 5 weeks in length.

School’s Out Camp: Grades 1-7
PEACturf’s School’s Out Camp will keep kids busy with fun games and activities during days off from school. Held at our new climate controlled indoor turf field, as well as PEAC’s basketball court, tennis courts and other areas of the facility, School’s Out Camp will take place rain or shine. Campers will enjoy an organized day of activities and field sports led by our trained, responsible camp counselors.

Youth Tennis Programs
In cooperation with TCNJ Girls Tennis Team

Fundamentals of Tennis (For ags 3-6)
This class is for beginners and will teach players the proper way to hold and swing a racket, basic tennis strokes and will emphasize hand-eye coordination.

Stroke Correction & Advanced Strategy (For ages 7-11)
This class is for participants who have some playing experience. Players will be taught proper scoring, parts of the tennis court, and strategy. Players will also work on proper footwork, complete stroke correction, and advanced strategy including group strategy and where to hit the ball (such as hitting angles, etc).
