Trainers at PEAC
PEAC’s personal trainers possess the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to design safe and effective fitness programs. They will instruct and assist people in reaching their personal health and fitness goals.
Our trainers have a thorough working knowledge of the human anatomy and the concepts of functional exercise, basic nutrition and the fundamental principles of exercise for each individual. Our trainers have the ability to design and execute individual and small group exercise fitness programs, tailored to the needs and attainable goals of the individual in a safe and effective way. We have a desire to help individuals to better their health and fitness goals through appropriate cardiovascular, flexibility and resistance exercise.
We will motivate others in an encouraging and uplifting way towards improving their overall fitness and health. Our trainers maintain personal integrity, client confidentiality and professionalism.
Michelle Briehler holds a NSCA Certification, a Group TRX Suspension Training certification as well as an AAAI in Group Exercise, an AFAA Primary Group Certification and is a certified Pilate’s instructor through the Physical/Mind Institute.
Prior to joining the PEAC Training Team in 2000, Michelle was a school athlete participant in basketball, track and volleyball, a massage therapist, and an instructor and trainer at the Academy of Martial Arts School.
Michelle’s approach to training is one that focuses on being efficient and effective to assist her clients in reaching their goals. With an emphasis on nutrition and healthy eating habits, Michelle continues to expand her knowledge of fitness and wellness to share with her clients.
Michelle continually seeks to expand her expertise by researching all aspects of fitness through interactive workshops, seminars and reading, and enjoys spending time with her family down at the Jersey shore or just being at home.
Chris J. Draper CSCS, RD, LDN
Christopher J. Draper, CSCS, RD, LDN is a registered/licensed dietitian and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He received his undergraduate degree in nutrition and dietetics from Marywood University in Scranton, PA, and completed post baccalaureate pre-medical work at Temple University. He is a member of the American Dietetic Association and National Strength and Condition Association.
Chris specializes in nutrition and training for sports and exercise, weight management, wellness, endurance coaching and consulting. He has developed thousands of training and nutrition programs for his clients, ranging from casual exercisers to competitive athletes.
As an athlete, Chris captured various bodybuilding and power lifting titles. In recent years Chris has shifted his focus to endurance events, is an Ironman competitor, and two time participant of the Ultraman Competition. Chris has competed and coached individuals for endurance events such as marathons and Ironman triathlons, and is the director of PEACycle, PEAC’s indoor cycling program. His commitment to his own training gives him greater awareness of the support his clients need, both physically and mentally, to prepare them for their events or personal fitness goals.
Chris considers his work with clients a privilege, by the opportunity to witness the transformation of an accepting individual.
Tamica Estrella holds certifications in Personal Training & Weight Management from AAAI, as well as a Combine/Ignite 360 Performance Certification Powered by Under Armour & IMG Academies. In addition, to being a certified high school coach, a former Division 1 Women’s Basketball scholarship athlete, and having a diverse background in the fitness industry, Tamica is an accomplished kickboxing instructor. She has 5 years of boxing experience from golden gloves fighter “Cosmoe” Problems, she trained in Muay Thai with two-time international Muay Thai champion, Mel Menor, and her current standing is 3-0 amateur as a boxing and kickboxing competitor. Tamica competed in various fitness competitions in the bikini division and most recently competed in The Lingerie Football League, where she was a 2x All Fantasy Cornerback (2011-2012).
Tamica’s goal is to empower women through fitness, performance training and athletics. She provides all her clients with a tailored 360 degree fitness training program designed specifically for them. Each program is a continuous cycle of performance improvement and achievement based on results. With each of her clients, Tamica focuses on balance, strength and movement. Her 360 degree approach transforms personal potential into performance improvement.
Tamica enjoys training, continually seeking to learn new and innovative ways to improve her training techniques. When Tamica is not training or working out, she enjoys listening to music, relaxing at the beach, traveling, dancing, sewing, and cooking. Most of all she loves spending time with her one year old son, family and friends.
Liz Glynn is an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer, AFAA Certified Group Exercise Instructor, and holds specialty certifications in Golden Hearts Senior Fitness. She is also a certified Weight Management Specialist. In addition to training at PEAC, Liz is the Member Services Coordinator and a weight loss coach for the I Lost it at PEAC program.
Liz is a graduate of Rutgers University with a BA in Journalism and Media Studies. Continuing her education, she obtained a Fitness Specialist Certification from Raritan Valley Community College, which included studies in exercise physiology, nutrition and functional fitness. Prior to joining PEAC, Liz was a non-profit director who focused on engaging communities in local issues. Liz draws on her experience to educate and motivate her clients to improve their health and fitness levels. She pursued her passion for fitness after experiencing her own personal journey to improve her physical health. Liz understands that life is busy and wants to help her clients find the time and motivation to make exercise a part of their healthy routine. Liz’s philosophy is if you believe in yourself and put forth your best effort you can achieve anything.
In her spare time she enjoys going on long bike rides along the D&R canal with her husband, hiking, and cooking meals with fresh local foods. Liz was a competitive cross country and track runner in high school, and still runs 5Ks for fun. She also volunteers as a coach for Girls On the Run in New Hope, which encourages young girls to embrace healthy lifestyles.
Andrew Halko, CSCS
Andrew Halko, CSCS, is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Kinesiology; Movement Science Option with Medical Emphasis. He is a USA Weightlifting Certified Sports Performance Coach, a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and is an AAAI Certified Personal Trainer.
Since joining PEAC in 2000, Andrew has been training his clients with the philosophy that exercise is a physical activity specifically designed to elicit a training effect. He believes that you must train specifically and efficiently to obtain your goals, and follow a designed program that is progressively challenging, to improve your fitness. Andrew’s clientele spans all ages and demographics, from young athletes to seniors with health considerations, including joint replacements and Parkinson’s.
Andrew has many accomplishments and continues to compete in powerlifting, weightlifting, strongman and bodybuilding events. At Pennsylvania State University, he achieved All-American status in powerlifting, having placed in the top three nationally. Since graduating he was a two-time Penn State powerlifting champion, a deadlift national champion, and most recently, 2010 bench press national champion.
With his combined success in weightlifting competitions and knowledge from USA Weightlifting Certification, Andrew has helped implement a strength program for the HVCHS football team, and developed PEAC’s XtremeFit class, an intense workout incorporating a variety of functional movements to improve core strength and challenge ALL aspects of fitness.
When he’s not at the club, Andrew enjoys spending time with his family, and is actively involved in all his three children’s various sports pursuits.
Betty Ivins, CSCS
Betty Ivins, CSCS is the Personal Training Program Coordinator and a graduate of the University of Maryland with studies in exercise physiology, athletic training and nutrition. She is an AAAI certified Personal Trainer and is spin certified.
Before joining the PEAC Training Team, Betty was a member since the club’s opening in 1997. With a lifetime involvement in athletics and fitness, Betty has been involved in scholastic swimming, track, basketball, and dance. She has also participated in and trained for synchronized swimming at the Olympic Training Facility in Squaw Valley and coached synchronized swim teams. Betty conveys her philosophy “make it fun and make it forever” to her clients.
When not at PEAC, Betty spends time in her garden, and is always good for a new recipe or healthy twist to an old recipe.
Jenine Lansing is a 1997 graduate of The College of New Jersey and has been an ACE certified Personal Trainer since 2004. Jenine also holds certifications in mat Pilates from AAAI, Aerobic Kickboxing from AFAA, Group TRX Suspension Training, and has a second degree black belt in karate. In 2005, Jenine obtained a specialized certification in pre and postnatal fitness from AFPA while pregnant with her daughter. She enjoys assisting future moms in maintaining their fitness levels throughout their pregnancies, as well as helping them discover comfortable and safe exercise routines after childbirth. Jenine happily works with club members of any fitness level. She firmly believes that fitness and training are for everyone who wants or needs to exercise. She loves helping each client find the workout to support their individual needs and goals!

Heather (Patterson) Raub
Heather (Patterson) Raub received her training certification from WITS and also holds a certification in TRX Suspension Training. She has a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology/Sociology with a minor in Philosophy and Graduate Studies in Documentary Photography. As a Trainer for more than 10 years, she has experience in Functional Training, Nutritional Concepts, Advanced Strength Training, Stroller Strides (focusing on pre- and post-natal fitness), and more than 7 years experience with post rehabilitation.
Heather approaches each client individually to develop an exercise program specific to his or her needs, limitations or goals. Using creative techniques to challenge the body and mind, she pushes or encourages her clients to accomplish their fitness goals. Most importantly, she feels a program should be fun and rewarding.
In addition to fitness, Heather is a professional photographer, with subjects ranging from portraits to creative candids or photojournalistic projects. Heather enjoys family activities with her husband Anthony and her daughter, Sierra and son, AJ. When Heather is not with family, she loves to run and participate in outdoor activities.
