Michelle Briehler
Michelle Briehler
Michelle Briehler holds a NSCA Certification as well as an AAAI in Group Exercise and is a certified Pilates instructor through the Physical/Mind Institute. A member of the PEAC Training Team since 2000, Michelle was a school athlete participant in basketball, track and volleyball, a prior massage therapist for 8 years followed by 6 years experience as an instructor and trainer at PEAC and the Academy of Martial Arts School. Michelle’s approach to training is one that focuses on being efficient and effective with her client’s needs and time. She continually educates her clients so their workouts can be effective within their time constraints. She enjoys researching all aspects of fitness through workshops, seminars, and internet, and enjoys spending time with her family down at the shore or just playing around the house.

Cheryl Curbishley  
Cheryl Curbishley
Cheryl Curbishley has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the College of New Jersey (Trenton State.)  She holds certifications from AAAI in Personal Training, Group Exercise, Pilates, and Cycling. Before joining PEAC’s Group Exercise team in 2006, Cheryl was a member since 1998.  Cheryl draws on her educational and instructional experience to guide each client through an effective and individually tailored fitness program.  She believes that the work done with a personal trainer can form the basis of a new, healthy lifestyle.  In group classes, she excels at keeping all ability levels challenged without being overwhelmed. Cheryl enjoys new challenges and is an accomplished runner and triathlete.  Her marathon credits include the Boston Marathon and she has completed numerous sprint and Olympic distance triathlons, even helping a group of 20 first-timers experience their first triathlon.  When not at the PEAC or scrapbooking, Cheryl enjoys spending time with her husband, Tom and their two children, Gwyneth and Tristan.

Chris Dorner
Chris Dorner
Chris Dorner is a certified AAAI/ISMA Personal Trainer and Primary Aerobic Instructor and has Certifications from the Body Training Systems, BodyPump® and Reebok Spin. In addition, Chris has received her ACE Certification for personal training by completing an extensive education program. With over 14 years experience as a group fitness instructor, Chris has taught a variety of classes including step, hi-lo, spin, and BodyPump®. With her experience in the fitness and her desire to help others attain their fitness goals Chris began her personal training at PEAC in 2004 developing a dedicated client base.

Chris Draper
Chris Draper
Christopher J. Draper, CSCS, LDN, RD is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a licensed, registered dietitian. He received his undergraduate degree in nutrition from Marywood University in Scranton, PA. As an athlete, Draper has captured various bodybuilding and power lifting titles highlighted by two Pennsylvania State Power Lifting Championships and a USA Power Lifting National Title where he lifted over 600lbs. in the squat exercise. Currently, Chris’ focus is on his career in health and wellness, which has influenced his training style. Instead of squatting heavy loads, his training regimen includes running over 50 miles per week with his NY City Marathon training clientele.

David Goldberg
David Goldberg
David Goldberg is an ACE Personal Trainer and group fitness instructor. He also holds certifications from ACE as a Lifestyle & Weight Management Consultant and from AFI for Mat Pilates. With 11 years experience as a Personal Trainer, David has worked at health clubs in the Hamilton and Princeton areas and is now bringing his expertise to the PEAC Team. David focuses on giving each of his clients the best program designed based on their age, fitness level, lifestyle and goals. His philosophy has always been to teach proper methods to his clients while making exercise enjoyable.

Andrew Halko
Andrew Halko
Andrew Halko, CSCS, is a graduate of Penn State University with a BS in Kinesiology and a Movement Science Option with Medical Emphasis. He is a USA Weightlifting certified sports performance coach, holds a National Strength and Conditioning Association certification as a strength and conditioning specialist and is a AAAI Certified Personal Trainer. Since 2000, Andy has been training his clients at PEAC with the philosophy that exercise is a physical activity specifically designed to elicit a training effect. He believes that you must train specifically to obtain the goals your are striving for and continue to put greater demands on your body so your progress is consistent. In addition to being a two-time PA State Power Lifting Champion in 2001 & 2003, Andy was the Dead Lift National Champion in 2001, 5th place finisher in the Bench Press Nationals in 2003 and holder of other junior and national titles.

Gayle Hatch
Gayle Hatch
Gayle Hatch is the Member Services Coordinator at PEAC. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science from James Madison University in Harrisionburg, VA. She is a Certified Personal Trainer by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), and also holds a AAAI certification in personal training. Gayle joined the PEAC team in August 2004 and enjoys training individuals as a way to help them improve both their physical and emotional well being. She believes that through fitness an individual can reduce stress and improve their body while also increasing energy levels and their outlook on life. In this process Gayle is a friend to her clients, helping them to strive for their goals and encouraging them through positive reinforcement. She believes that fitness does not have to be a chore but can even be an emotional/spiritual experience when goals and attitudes are met or improved through healthy behavior and lifestyle choices.

Betty Ivins
Betty Ivins
Betty Ivins is the Personal Training Program Coordinator and a graduate of the University of Maryland with studies in exercise physiology, athletic training and nutrition and has a certification from AAAI as a personal trainer. Betty has been involved in scholastic track, basketball and dance. She has also participated in synchronized swimming at the Olympic Training Facility in Squaw Valley and coached synchronized swim teams. Betty conveys her philosophy “make it fun and make it forever” to her clients.

Christine Kean
Christine is a graduate of The College of New Jersey with a BS in Corporate Fitness. She is a certified ACSM Health & Fitness Instructor and has 7 years experience in fitness and personal training. Her philosophy is to train in a way that will make people more functional for every day living. A healthy and fit body will allow for easier participation in the fun activities of life. In addition to providing her training services at PEAC, Christine is a full-time teacher who also enjoys 5K’s just for fun!

Mike Kelderman
Mike Kelderman
Mike Kelderman obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from George Mason University and is an N.S.C.A Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He discovered a passion for fitness while training for a variety of sports, which includes competitive weight lifting, strongman competitions, power lifting, bodybuilding, shot put, discus, long distance running and football. This diverse involvement and understanding of the physical demands needed to achieve maximum performance has enabled him to assist clients in identifying a specific goal and to develop a personalized training program for any fitness level. No matter if you are a seasoned athlete or new to exercise, Mike evaluates each client individually, with a mission to improve their overall health and performance. As with his own training, Mike is highly motivated and dedicated to fitness. He shares his enthusiasm with his clients and takes great pride in seeing them achieve their goals. In his free time, Mike enjoys weightlifting and football.

Jenine Lansing
Jenine Lansing
Jenine Lansing is a 1997 graduate of The College of New Jersey and received her personal training certification from ACE in 2004. In 2005, Jenine obtained a specialized certification in pre and postnatal fitness from AFPA while pregnant with her daughter. She enjoys assisting future moms in maintaining their fitness levels throughout their pregnancies, in addition to helping them regain their pre baby shapes after childbirth. Although she finds working with moms and moms-to-be rewarding, Jenine enjoys working with members of all fitness levels, especially new exercisers. Jenine’s focus includes helping members become more familiar and less intimidated with the club’s surroundings, in order to improve their exercise routine and attain a healthier lifestyle.

Jenine also holds certifications in mat Pilates from AAAI, Aerobic Kickboxing from AFAA, and a second degree black belt in karate. When not working with clients, Jenine is at home with her 2 children.

Heather Patterson
Heather Patterson
Heather Patterson received her training certification from WITS and also holds a certification in TRX Suspension Training. She has a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology/Sociology with a minor in Philosophy and Graduate Studies in Documentary Photography. As a Trainer for more than 6 years, she has experience in Functional Training, Nutritional Concepts, Advanced Strength Training, Stroller Strides (focusing on pre- and post-natal fitness), and more than 3 years experience with post rehabilitation. Heather approaches each client individually to develop an exercise program specific to his or her needs, limitations or goals. Using creative techniques to challenge the body and mind, she pushes or encourages her clients to accomplish their fitness goals. Most importantly, she feels a program should be fun and rewarding. In addition to fitness, Heather has been a professional photographer for the past 7 years, with subjects ranging from portraits to creative candids or photojournalistic projects. With the birth of her son AJ in March 2010, Heather enjoys family activities with her husband Anthony and her daughter Sierra. When Heather is not with family, she loves to run and participate in outdoor activities.

Chet Snook
Chet Snook
Chet Snook is a graduate of The College of New Jersey (Trenton State) with both a Bachelor and Masters Degree in Health and Physical Education and Athletic Management. He is a NESTA certified personal trainer, a two sport (baseball & soccer) collegian Hall of Fame inductee and has 35 years of coaching and training experience. Prior to joining PEAC in 2004, Chet was a former Athletic Director enjoying the interaction with inspiring athletes at all levels and sport activities. With great leadership, coaching skills, and a passion for sports and fitness, Chet has the ability to train any age at any fitness level. In addition to the court sport activities, his personal philosophy “use it or lose it’ has his training clients motivated and encouraged to achieve their personal fitness goals. In addition to Chet’s passion for racquet sports, his interests include woodworking and cars! He is most proud of and enjoys spending time with his family.
