PEAC Programs Overview

With more than 15,000 square feet, PEACturf will offer competitive and non-competitive sports leagues, clinics, camps, programs and recreational activities year round in a comfortable, climate-controlled environment. Programming is designed for younger children just learning to play, to school aged athletes seeking to improve their skills.  For all participants, the main goal is to learn and have FUN!  If you’re looking to join a program, for a place to have the ultimate sports/recreational themed party, or simply a team looking for a place to practice without the worry of weather, PEACturf is the place for you!

Our multi-use sport court is available to members for scheduled open basketball play as well as organized play. Times for walk-on or pick-up play is scheduled and team play is coordinated as well. This court is also to be used for other training, classes, workshops, and clinics in various other sports activities.

Group Classes
PEAC offers a full range of Group Exercise Classes for members and their guests. With over 80 classes offered weekly, your choices are virtually unlimited. Our professional staff of instructors provide step, spinning, Yoga, Pilates, Zumba, strength & tone classes and cross training classes. 

Group Training
PEAC’s Group Training program allows individuals in groups of 4 to 8 people, to experience the excitement of a group exercise class and the expertise of a personal trainer in one session. Whether you want to lose weight, improve overall fitness or achieve new goals, one of the keys to any successful exercise plan is consistency. Group Training helps participants stay focused and on track with personalized attention, as your trainer motivates and guides you through a precise exercise regimen, combined with the encouragement and support of a group.

Forever Young
For more than eight years, this specifically designed program for individuals OVER 55 has been encouraging, informing, educating and promoting Health & Fitness, Exercise & Flexibility and Wellness & Nutrition. While meeting new people and having fun, this program is offered to members at no additional charge and to non-members as a guest. Under the direction of our Certified Senior Specialists, activities for the program include a structured cardio circuit, stretch and flexibility classes, and strength and balance classes.

Our summer camp is designed to provide a fun, motivational and enriching environment for children ages six to fourteen. KidsKamp includes recreational sports activities, youth fitness classes, arts & crafts and special events. PEAC’s KidsKamp runs Monday through Friday offering Full-Day enrollment from 9am-3pm, and Half-Day enrollment from 9am-12pm.

I Lost it at PEAC Program
“I Lost it at PEAC” is an eight week weight-loss program offered as winter and fall sessions. The program is based on motivation, support and encouragement to help participants lose weight and gain the tools needed to live a healthier lifestyle. Participants are put into teams of four, and under the direction of a coach will develop a teammate relationship. The assigned coach will provide motivation, encouragement, healthy eating tips and exercise guidance, communication, instruction and education throughout the program. Participants meet weekly with the assigned coach to weigh in, receive fitness tips and discuss goals. Throughout the program, participants are welcome to attend the provided Lifestyle and Wellness sessions and nutrition lectures.

PEACycling Studio offers riders indoor group training sessions, utilizing a multirider Computrainer system, which simulates an outdoor riding course. Under direct supervision of Chris Draper and a qualified coaching staff, the goal of the sessions is to maintain or increase your cycling-specific fitness through indoor cycling. Each session will consist of a warm-up, a main set that will focus on complete riding conditioning and a cool down.

Private, Semi-Private, and Group Golf instruction are available at PEAC Health & Fitness through the winter months when outdoor golf programs are suspended. Instruction is provided by experienced Golf Professional, Anthony Latham. Reservations and payments are taken at the Service Desk. Non-members may also participate with PEAC members having first priority.

PEAC Performance
Under the direction of Evan Orchinik. PEAC provides two types of athlete based training programs through its PEAC Performance Program. An athletic development and sports performance training for individuals, groups, and teams who desire a more focused training regimen that is specific to their sport. As well as functional fitness training for those not involved in sports but who are looking to supplement their workouts with athletic training.  With the luxury of space, the addition of PEAC Performance Training provides sports specific training to local high school athletic programs, college teams, organizational teams and individuals throughout the Mercer/Bucks region.

Our well-rounded group cycling classes are performed on a stationary bike with music and a motivational instructor. Visualization and other techniques are used to create an exciting and individually challenging atmosphere. Discover your goals and limitations while acquiring a variety of cardiovascular benefits.

PEAC XtremeFit
PEAC XtremeFit is a total body challenge that puts the “work” in workout and takes your fitness to the next level.  XtremeFit is an exercise regimen comprised of a series of functional, compound muscle movements performed at a fast pace or maximal effort to improve overall strength and conditioning. With an emphasis on proper technique, PEAC Trainer Andy Halko, CSCS, guides and motivates committed individuals as a group through a challenging and intense workout.

PEAC TRX Suspension Training
PEAC TRX Suspension Training is a method of functional training that simultaneously develops strength, balance, flexibility and core stability. The TRX® Suspension Trainer leverages gravity and the user’s body weight to enable hundreds of exercises and challenge your entire body. To learn more about TRX and its benefits.

Under the coordination of Michelle Briehler, and suitable for all ages and abilities, Pilates is a method of controlled exercises that engage the mind and condition the total body. The focus in Pilates is on quality of movement rather than quantity, which makes one feel invigorated rather that exhausted after a session. Each session involves stabilizing the core (the abdomen, back, and pelvic girdle region sometimes referred to as the “powerhouse”) of the body. This form of exercise has seen a rapid rise in popularity and PEAC provides classes for the beginner and intermediate enthusiast as well as classes to challenge the more advance member.

Racquetball Courts
Three regulation racquetball courts are available for the exclusive use of club members and their guests. Courts can be reserved in advance at the main service desk. Round-robin play has been established to develop interaction among the players. There is no additional fee for the use of the racquetball courts.

Squash Courts
Two international squash courts are available for the exclusive use of club members and their guests. Courts can be reserved in advance at the main service desk. Round-robin play has been established to develop interaction among the players. There is no additional fee for the use of the squash courts.

Tai Chi
Under the direction of Terri Layton, this ancient form of motion improves strength, flexibility and balance through controlled and fluid body movements.

PEAC is proud to offer Mercer County’s two newest indoor tennis courts for our members and guests. Monika Waniek, USPTA Tennis Professional and PEAC’s Tennis Program Director will provide instructional tennis services, workshops/demonstrations, youth and adult programs and clinics. Court time is available to members and their guests either by reservation or walk-on basis when available. Members and their children can participate in our workshops, group instruction sessions, and clinics. Programs are open to non-members as availability permits. Group and private instruction available with PEAC’s tennis pro Monika Waniek.

Wellness & Lifestyle Coaching
PEAC offers Wellness & Lifestyle Coaching under the direction of Barbara Allen-Walker. Wellness & Lifestyle Coaching combines holistic nutrition and health coaching, empowering you to make lasting changes to support your vibrant happiness and quality of life. This program will help you develop a well balanced lifestyle for the whole you: body, mind, and spirit. Personalized coaching sessions will be used to help you attain your goals with your own dietary program. Your sessions will include recipes, fitness tips, stress tips, email communication and more.

Under the coordination of Leslie Cortina, our qualified staff of Yoga instructors provide classes for the novice as well as those practitioners looking for more advanced techniques.

Youth Activities
PEAC youth programs are designed to offer fun, fitness and the basic fundamentals of preschool and kinder sport programs. All classes are designed to be age appropriate and recreational, while focusing on the child’s overall physical development. Most programs run 4 to 5 weeks in length.
