PEAC Health & Fitness Hosts Vertigo Lecture
January 5th, 2016
Ewing, New Jersey (January 5, 2016) PEAC Health & Fitness hosts complimentary health lecture, “Vertigo Causes and Treatments” presented by Capital Health.
Vertigo is the term used to describe dizziness or a range of sensations, such as feeling faint, woozy, weak or unsteady and creates the false sense that you or your surroundings are spinning or moving.
According to the Mayo Clinic, dizziness is one of the more common reasons adults visit their doctors. Frequent dizzy spells can significantly affect your life, but rarely signal a life-threatening condition.
“Wellness is much more than just working out and eating right,” says PEAC Group Exercise Director, Laurel Reid. “The incident of vertigo can increase with age and can have such a negative impact on an individual. We are happy to be able to offer this program to our community through our Forever Young Senior Fitness program. It is just one more way that we can enhance the lives our participants.”
The Forever Young Senior Fitness program is open to all individuals over age 50 and offers a variety of age appropriate exercise options, supervised weight workouts and monthly lectures or demonstrations.
The lecture, “Vertigo Causes and Treatments” is complimentary and open to all members of the community. For more information or to reserve your space, contact Laurel Reid by email, or by phone at 609-883-2000. PEAC is located at 1440 Lower Ferry Road, Ewing, NJ.
